The FCS Foundation is a 501(3)(c) nonprofit organization founded in 2011 and located at 5204 Paylor Lane in Sarasota, Florida. The Foundation assists cancer patients across the state. Because our partner physicians cover all overhead, 100% of donations go directly to the essential non‑medical living expenses of adult patients.

- Greet patients and guests with a smile and friendly voice.
- Offer water and coffee while patients and guests are waiting.
- Keep the waiting room neat and tidy.
- Engage patients and guests in light, easy conversation.
- Retrieve a wheelchair as needed.
Shifts are typically Monday‑Friday, between 9am and 3pm, based on need and may vary. Minimum time commitment: 3 hours per week for at least 6 months.
Volunteer Requirements- Submit a volunteer application.
- Complete a phone interview.
- Complete a criminal history check and drug/nicotine screening.
FCS is a nicotine‑and medical marijuana‑free workplace. - Complete a health screening:
Tuberculosis (TB) testing, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Hepatitis B, and Varicella immunity proof are required. - Annual influenza vaccine required (August 1 through March 31).
