Max Health in Venice is looking to hire a full-time Medical Assistant to oversee patient care, prepare patients' rooms, assist physicians with exams, and perform front desk tasks. Starting Salary - $20.00 an hour.

Location - Jacaranda Blvd, Venice

Normal hours of operation are Monday–Friday 8:00am–5:00pm. Bilingual in Spanish is a plus but not necessary.

As a Medical Assistant, you are directly involved in ensuring that we deliver focused and empathetic patient care at all times. You greet patients warmly and triage them upon arrival. You prepare examination and procedure rooms, obtain patients’ histories, vital signs, and weight/height measurements. When needed, you perform administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and procedures, and managing necessary documents such as pre-authorizations, medical records, and test results.

You maintain a calming presence while assisting with examinations, procedures, and treatments.

• 1+ years of experience as an MA
• Ability to be on your feet for extended periods and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs
• Computer literacy (experience using EMR/EHR)
• Computer proficiency
