Senior Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Join Sarasota Memorial Health Care System as a Senior Nuclear Medicine Technologist. Under the supervision of a physician, conduct diagnostic and therapeutic procedures using radioactive materials on pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.

Conduct diagnostic and therapeutic procedures using radioactive materials on patients of all ages. Demonstrate knowledge of growth and development and provide patient interaction, communication, and care tailored to specific patient populations.

Nuclear Medicine.

• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures with radioactive materials under physician supervision.
• Assess, interact, communicate, and care for patients across age groups, applying growth and development knowledge.
• Maintain patient safety, compliance with regulatory standards, and accurate record‑keeping.
• Participate in quality assurance, training, and ongoing professional development.

• American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) or Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) certification.
• Completion of a Nuclear Medicine Technology training program.
• Minimum seven (7) years of current nuclear medicine experience.
• BLS:
  Basic Life Support/CPR certification.
• Florida Radiologic Tech license.

• ARRT CT registry certification.
• Previous nuclear cardiology experience.
