Front Office Representative

Medical Office Representative | Venice, FL

Nextaff is urgently hiring a Front Office Representative to work with our client, a growing primary care medical office in Venice, FL. This is a full-time contract-to-hire position with a Monday-Friday 8:00 AM-5:00 PM schedule (no nights or weekends). In this role as Front Office Representative, you'll be the "face of the office", greeting and checking in patients with a smile, updating patient records, verifying insurance and collecting co-pays, scheduling appointments and helping "trains run on time".

What We Need From You:

• At least 1 year of experience working as a front office or desk rep in a medical practice
• Experience using an EMR application (eClinicalWorks preferred)
• Strong knowledge of medical office procedures and terminology, excellent computer skills and a friendly, positive attitude
• High school diploma or equivalent, background and drug screening required
