We are seeking an experienced Real Estate Attorney to join our growing practice. This role is ideal for an attorney who already understands the real estate closing process, works confidently with clients and industry professionals, and is ready to contribute immediately in a collaborative, well-supported environment. - Manage and oversee residential and commercial real estate files from opening through post-closing with accuracy, timeliness, and professional judgment
- Prepare, review, and coordinate all documents essential for processing, closing, and post-closing activities in residential and commercial real estate transactions
- Conduct client consultations, provide practical legal advice, and maintain consistent, proactive communication throughout the transaction
- Identify, analyze, and resolve title, survey, lien, and contractual issues to facilitate successful closings
- Develop and implement legal strategies to address transaction-related risks and achieve favorable outcomes for clients
- Collaborate closely with paralegals, legal assistants, and attorneys to ensure efficient case management and adherence to deadlines
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date case files, documentation, and timekeeping/billing records
- Oversee transaction timelines and coordinate with lenders, realtors, title companies, and other third-party professionals
- Perform general office duties related to case management, including correspondence, calendaring, and filing
- Support the Real Estate team to ensure smooth workflow, consistency, and a high level of client satisfaction
- Participate in business development, networking, and marketing efforts to attract referrals and strengthen the Firm’s presence in the community
- Act as a notary public as needed to facilitate real estate transactions
- Maintain a professional, client-focused demeanor while managing frequent interactions with clients, financial institution representatives, and industry professionals
- Exercise discretion, sound judgment, and professionalism in handling confidential and time-sensitive matters
- Perform additional duties as necessary to support the operational and client-service needs of the Firm
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
- Licensed to practice law in the State of Florida and in good standing with the Florida Bar
- Minimum of 2 years of real estate law experience required (residential and/or commercial)
- Strong working knowledge of contracts, closings, and the full real estate transaction lifecycle
- Ability to manage multiple matters in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail
- Professional, client-focused demeanor with strong written and verbal communication skills
- Grace under pressure and a proactive, problem-solving mindset
- Comfortable working independently while collaborating closely with a team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Adobe PDF; experience with case management software is a plus
- Notary commission preferred (or willingness to obtain; Firm will cover costs)
$90,000-$120,000 per year
