Lead Teacher – WCDC
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Lead Teacher to join our team ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and meet the following qualifications.
- High school diploma
- 2,600 hours of verified experience working with children
- Background clearance, child abuse clearance, etc.
- Strong communication skills and a positive attitude
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- A CDA (Child Development Associate) credential is a plus, but not required
Responsibilities include assisting in the daily care and supervision of children, supporting curriculum delivery and classroom activities, fostering a safe, nurturing, and educational environment for children, maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming space, and collaborating with teachers and staff to ensure the best outcomes for children.

POSITION SUMMARY
The Central Local Engagement Leader/Pastor is responsible for directing and developing Compassion Christian Church's Local Outreach ministry, furthering the church's mission to lead others to a life-changing relationship with Jesus by leading and equipping staff and volunteers in effective outreach strategies and best practices within the surrounding region.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Strategic Vision & Systems Design (E4, GC) :
Developing and implementing a comprehensive, scalable vision for local outreach across all campuses, maintaining systems and processes for training, support, and assessment. - Campus Outreach Support & Collaboration (E4, W/M) :
Providing direct support and collaboration to campus pastors and teams in planning, execution, and evaluation of local outreach efforts. - Lighthouse Ministry Leadership & Development (E4, GC) :
Overseeing the Lighthouse ministry, including recruitment, training, development, and celebration of Lighthouse Team Leaders. - Community Engagement & Partnerships (RW, W/M) :
Building and maintaining relationships with community organizations and stakeholders, identifying needs, and coordinating outreach initiatives. - Crisis Response & Compassionate Care (RW, W/M) :
Supporting Crisis on Call and Benevolence/Care Office ministries, offering practical support and spiritual guidance.
