Overview

GM and Food (General Merchandise, Closing, Fulfillment, Inbound, Food and Beverage, Starbucks) (T0813) s role supports the General Merchandise and Food Sales team by ensuring product is set, in-stock, accurately priced and signed on the sales floor, and by supporting inbound, outbound, replenishment, and promotional processes.

• Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests while completing daily tasks.
• Assist guests in a welcoming way to address their needs and solve issues.
• Thank guests and acknowledge their choice to shop at Target.
• Receive products, restock shelves, organize backroom, arrange merchandise, and put up promotional signs for GM areas.
• Operate power equipment to move merchandise or store fixtures if certified.
• Change prices, perform merchandise setup and maintenance, and ensure inventory accuracy as directed.
• Learn how operational procedures impact inventory management, store profitability, and product availability.
• Be knowledgeable about resources, products, and services available in the total store and in your area to assist guests and improve their experience.
• Demonstrate ethical conduct, safety, and compliance; work safely and report hazards.
• Support guest services such as back-up cashier and digital fulfillment processes (e.g., picking/packing orders, delivering pickup orders) while complying with applicable laws.
• Other duties as needed based on business needs.

• Accurately handle cash register operations as needed.
• Climb ladders and move merchandise safely, including lifting up to 44 pounds without assistance.
• Flexible work schedule (nights, weekends, holidays) with reliable attendance.
• Exposure to varying temperatures and conditions; responsibilities may include Drive-Up, carryout, etc.
• Ability to stay mobile for the duration of a scheduled shift.
