Overview

The Service Technician is responsible for servicing and repairing vehicles as assigned by the Service Manager.

We are looking to hire in multiple areas of the shop. Come join our team and work in an air-conditioned shop, on all makes and models of classic cars.

To qualify you must be skilled at your trade, passionate about classic cars and quality of work performed, focused on attention to detail, striving to learn/improve, and demonstrate a strong work ethic. Pay is dependent upon these attributes and abilities.

Requirements
  • Must possess Classic Car experience for this job. A strong mechanical / electrical background.
  • Must be able to diagnose and repair a multitude of classic vehicle engine components, including point-style distributors, carburetors, troubleshoot and fix electrical issues.
  • Must own your own tools
  • ASE certified is a plus but not required
  • Good communication skills are essential
  • Time management is imperative
  • Must pass a background check, pass a drug test, possess a valid driver's license, and be able to drive a manual transmission
  • Perform any task requested by Service Manager pertaining to the shop, store or cars

  • Expertly diagnose issues based upon experience, analysis, and testing
  • Maintain leading-edge knowledge of automotive diagnosis technology, digital manuals, and reference materials
  • Possess an increasingly broad knowledge of how vehicles' complex components work and interact
  • Perform routine service inspections, test, and lubricate engines and other major components
  • Repair automobiles and light trucks that run on gasoline, electricity, or alternate fuels, such as ethanol
  • Adapt to rapidly changing technologies in the automotive industry, as well as in the diagnostics arena
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures and safety standards
  • Perform other duties as assigned
