This is a working crew lead position. Successful candidates will lead by example, working outdoors alongside their team to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.

Summary The Paver Installer Crew Lead leads and organizes work crew to install and maintain building materials such as pavers, brick, and structural tile to construct or repair driveways, walls, and other structures; smoothing and finishing surfaces of poured concrete fountain molds, floors, walls, sidewalks, or curbs to specified textures; installing pumps, electrical and piping equipment for fountains by performing the following duties:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities Prepares, measures, and excavates site for construction or repair of pavers, bricks, tile and concrete for walkways, curbs, driveways, patios, fountains and other structures according to plans

Prepares ground base by compacting calculated depth or crushed stone or incorporating and tilling cement with soil, mechanically vibrating the aggregate base for compaction and assures base slopes according to plan.

Applies and screeds sand at selected height over compacted base according to plans.

Establishes starting square, lays pavers, bricks and tile and minimizes gaps with tapping according to plan.

Prepares, cuts and installs pavers, bricks and tile where needed.

Retrains edges of finished layout with selected materials.

Communicate effectively with management, clients, and team members

Enforce company safety policies and ensure proper use of PPEOperate company vehicles, trailers, and equipment safely

Qualifications3+ years of paver installation and repair experience

Previous crew leadership or supervisory experience preferred

Ability to read blueprints

Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record

Strong communication and organizational skills

Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions

Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly

Work Schedule Full-time position

Overtime and weekend work may be required during peak season
