Overview

Move forward as MOT Inspector at DSV in Venlo. Full‑time position.

Work in our workshop that provides full‑service repairs and maintenance for all types of trailers, including tyre changes, brake tests, electrical repairs and MOT inspections. In this role you will be fully responsible for the MOT inspection of DSV trailers, inspecting each trailer in your own APK test lane.

• Inspect vehicles in accordance with APK guidelines.
• Draw up an inspection report with your findings and communicate the results to the Workshop Manager.
• Carry out minor repairs that can be completed immediately.
• Maintain tools and measuring equipment.
• Assist the MOT inspector during spot checks.

• Completed vmbo or mbo education in automotive engineering, mechanical engineering, agricultural mechanisation, mobile equipment or similar.
• Some experience as an MOT inspector in the heavy transport sector, or a strong willingness to learn.
• Technically literate and key skilled in automotive repair.
• Familiarity with measuring and test equipment.
• Command of the Dutch language.
