Lean Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and optimize operational processes (existing and new)
• Coordinate and execute cross‑functional process improvement projects
• Drive continuous improvement of workflows, communication, and collaboration within the Venlo site and across the EMEA region
• Support automation and digital transformation initiatives (SAP enhancements, RPA)
• Monitor KPIs and initiate corrective actions to achieve performance goals
• Train and coach teams in Lean methodologies
• Plan, organize, and facilitate Kaizen events and Lean workshops
• Develop and maintain process documentation, work instructions, and training materials
• Assist with internal and external audits
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, industry standards, and internal quality policies

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in Lean process improvement within logistics or supply chain
• Proficient in data analysis (Microsoft Office and Power BI)
• Lean Green Belt or Black Belt certification (preferred)
• Fluent in English
