About the role As Head of the new Field Service Hub in South‑West Netherlands, you will develop and manage the Field Service activities and smaller in-house repairs in the workshop as well as the local Field Service team. You will be responsible for the calculation and execution of site commissioning, service and repair jobs including all relevant HSE requirements at customer sites.
You will support related warranty complaints and resolutions together with the warranty department.
Key Responsibilities Review and evaluate customer inquiries, specifications and technical documentation
Provide technical and commercial support to customers and their projects
Conduct site visits to assess conditions, safety requirements, and define needed personnel, equipment and tools
Prepare cost calculations and quotations in the ERP system, including scheduling and coordination of subcontractors and leased personnel
Support field service activities on site, especially during the initial phase
Lead, train and develop the local field service team
Plan and schedule service jobs including internal and external resources
Define and coordinate services from subcontractors, obtain quotations and manage execution
Ensure all required documentation is available prior to job execution
Prepare all relevant documentation for invoicing after completion of field service activities
Report business activities and customer interactions in the CRM system
Provide technical support and training to customers and internal stakeholders
Collaborate closely with local sales teams and the wider service network
Handle and resolve customer complaints
Ensure a safe working environment and compliance with all relevant safety standards
Your Profile Solid experience in field service and pump repair
Experience in leading or coordinating small teams
Ability to calculate and estimate repair and service jobs
Knowledge of refinery, petrochemical or power plant environments, especially regarding safety requirements
Good command of English and confident use of common IT systems (ERP/CRM)
Independent, structured and solution‑oriented way of working
Strong customer and service orientation
Flexible and adaptable with a proactive mindset
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Negotiation and influencing skills
Commercial awareness and understanding of service business
Intercultural awareness and ability to work in an international environment
