Pay for PRN positions is calculated differently from Full-Time, Regular Part-Time, and Part-Time roles. PRN rates depend on the specific position, experience, shift commitment, and departmental policies. A PRN differential may apply to certain positions.
ResponsibilitiesPosition Overview: The Staff Physical Therapist evaluates and treats a variety of complex inpatient and outpatient diagnoses. They supervise daily activities of Physical Therapist Assistants and Aides, and communicate goals and patient information to physicians, hospital staff, and reimbursement agents.
QualificationsRequired:
- Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy
- Current CA Physical Therapy license issued by the Physical Therapy Board
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
Preferred:
- Master's Degree or DPT in Physical Therapy
- One year of professional experience in inpatient and outpatient settings, including clinical internships
- Previous Skilled Nursing experience (OVCH)
- Additional Board Certifications by the APTA
