Field Technician

As a Landscape Technician, you will play an important role in our field team’s daily work and success. You will assist with landscaping tasks at various commercial and residential properties using hand tools, power tools, or other equipment. You should be good at taking direction and performing tasks efficiently as directed by Goldenstate Landscapes management, supervisors, and crew leaders.

These tasks include, but are not limited to:

• Perform landscaping tasks such as irrigation, lighting, planting, synthetic turf installation, and more.
• Troubleshooting:
  The ability to identify and solve problems independently is a must.
• Maintain vehicles, tools, and equipment.
• Oversee and train crew members in landscaping techniques.
• Ensure all work meets technical and aesthetic standards.
• Monitor and improve operational efficiency and quality.
• Communicate effectively with team members and clients.
• Maintain safe work environments.

• 3+ years of professional landscaping experience.
• Sound knowledge of irrigation, low-voltage lighting, and landscaping practices.
• Leadership and training abilities. Positive and reliable.
• Dependable with strong time management skills.
• Conflict resolution and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent planning and organizational capabilities.
• Can operate and maintain equipment used for landscape installations and maintenance.
• Valid California Driver’s License with a clean record.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
• Eligible to work in the United States.

The employee must also be able to work in extreme conditions (temperatures may exceed 100 degrees Fahrenheit) and in direct sunlight for extended periods. Shade will be provided as necessary. The employee must also be able to bend, stoop, and twist continuously throughout the day.
