As a Security Officer - Distribution X-Ray in Ventura, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Screener in a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment. Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, remaining visible, and delivering outstanding customer service while supporting access control.

What You'll Do:

• Carry out security-related screening procedures for individuals and/or vehicles entering or exiting the logistics and distribution location.
• Provide customer service by assisting visitors, employees, and/or delivery personnel with questions and site-specific procedures.
• Help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity through observation and reporting.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Document and report any irregularities, unusual circumstances, or potential hazards encountered during assigned duties.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the business and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and maintain a visible presence.
• Support emergency response activities as required by site-specific policies and procedures.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with Allied Universal management, client representatives, and local authorities as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• X-Ray screening experience is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
