Primary shift time is 8:00AM-5:00PM; shift times can vary based on practice needs.

• Provides patient care in the office setting, addressing the psychosocial, physical, and general aspects of care for patients of all ages and populations.
• Meets the communication needs of patients and families; demonstrates initiative and professional responsibility under the supervision of a licensed independent practitioner.
• Performs duties as assigned/delegated by other clinical support staff within the office.
• Adheres to regulatory requirements, clinical and office policies, procedures, and standards.
• Communicates with physicians and team members about patient’s clinical condition, including diagnostic results and symptomatology.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Up to one year experience in medical setting with certification as a Medical Assistant or equivalent training and/or experience preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Good organizational skills.
• BLS certification.
• Ability to work under pressure and adapt to medical situations.
• Ability to stand/walk for up to eight hours/day, bend, stoop, twist, assist patients in turning, assist patient in arising from exam table, push wheelchair patients, and assist patient in arising from and returning to wheelchair.
