As a YMCA Summer Camp Counselor you are responsible for the successful implementation and delivery of our camp activities. This is a seasonal position that starts at the end of May and runs through mid-August.

• High school diploma or GED required
• At least 18 years of age
• 1-year experience working with children in a day camp setting preferred
• Experience with outdoor recreation, songs/music, skits, sports, aquatics, games, etc.
• Ability to work effectively with people of different backgrounds, abilities, opinions and perceptions
• We conduct a comprehensive background check for all employees who work with children and youth
