The Division of Kinesiology and Sport Management (KSM) at the University of South Dakota invites applications for a full‑time instructor or lecturer position beginning Fall 2026. We are seeking a dynamic and collaborative educator who is passionate about student success and committed to excellence in teaching and engagement.
Responsibilities- Teach a variety of undergraduate courses across the kinesiology and sport management curriculum (e.g., Introduction to Kinesiology and Sport Management, Organization and Administration of KSM, Resistance Training Basics, and Stress Management).
- Engage in departmental, university, and professional service.
- Serve as advisor for the Young Professionals in Exercise and Sport club.
- Minimum of a master’s degree in kinesiology, sport management, or related area.
- Evidence of successful teaching experience and ability to teach across multiple areas of kinesiology.
Salary is commensurate with qualifications. This position is a 9‑month, non‑tenure track appointment with the possibility of summer employment for additional compensation.
