Program Coordinator – USD Center for Digital Accessibility

Location: Vermillion, SD

Salary: $50,000–58,000 per year

Term: 12 months

Schedule: 8 a.m.–5 p.m., Monday–Friday (full‑time)

Position Summary: The USD Center for Digital Accessibility seeks a Program Coordinator to support initiatives that improve access to digital content and online experiences for individuals with disabilities. The role involves coordinating innovative projects, providing technical assistance to clients working to meet Web Content Accessibility Guidelines, developing proposals, managing client relationships and daily operations, assisting with trainings, and collaborating with partners and stakeholders to advance accessible electronic information and technology.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate projects and initiatives to improve digital accessibility.
  • Develop proposals and manage client relationships and daily operations.
  • Provide technical assistance to clients working to meet WCAG.
  • Assist with training programs on accessibility best practices.
  • Collaborate with partners and stakeholders to advance accessible electronic information.
  • Actively contribute to the center’s strategic initiatives and serve as an advocate for accessibility.
Required Qualifications
  • Organized, proactive, and passionate about digital accessibility.
  • Experience or strong knowledge in digital accessibility and WCAG.
  • Ability to write clear proposals, manage multiple priorities, and communicate effectively.
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel as needed.
