Senior Recruiter specializing in direct hire searches with Finance, Accounting, and Human Resources and Corporate Services

We are looking for a Senior Accountant to support the Controller in managing day-to-day accounting activities across multiple legal entities. The role will focus on maintaining accurate records, preparing financial reports, supporting audits, and driving operational improvements to ensure compliance and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial activities
• Reconcile general ledger accounts for accuracy of financial data
• Prepare financial statements, schedules, and account analyses
• Support quarterly financial reviews and year-end audits
• Operate and enhance internal accounting controls
• Coordinate with third-party service providers for internal control testing
• Recommend and implement process improvements
• Conduct accounting research and support ad hoc projects
• Perform daily cash reconciliations and expense tracking
• Assist in the preparation of Board materials
