Tax Preparer Assistant- Franchise

Assist with the beginning of the tax interview by entering client and W-2 information into the tax program.

Assist with the closing of the interview by assembling the tax return, obtaining required signatures, reviewing the finished product with the client, and completing bookkeeping procedures.

Ensure all H&R Block clients receive superior service.

All other duties as assigned.

Your Expertise:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Reading and math skills required to begin and finish the tax return interview.
• Effective communication skills in person and on the phone.
• Experience with Windows-based computer programs.
• Additional state and local requirements may apply.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Additional coursework in math, accounting, or finance.

Pay Range: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour. Local minimum wage laws apply. Compensation depends on experience, education, skills, performance, and location.
