Location: Putney

Landmark College, located in beautiful southern Vermont and within easy driving distance to Boston and other major cities, is the nation’s premier institution of higher education for students who learn differently. We have an immediate opening for a professional Administrative Assistant in the Office of Enrollment Management, reporting to the Senior Director of Admissions.

The responsibilities of the Administrative Assistant include providing support to the Admissions, Financial Aid, Short-Term Programs, and Marketing departments. Additional responsibilities include processing and file maintenance, date entry, answering phone calls, correspondence, greeting and assisting visitors, special projects, and generating reports. Must also be available some nights and weekends to attend on-campus recruitment events. $1,500 sign on bonus available.

Qualifications: An associate degree is preferred and a minimum of 5 years’ work history with progressively responsible assignments including a clear record of completing assignments with minimal supervision. The successful candidate should have the ability to multitask in an efficient, organized, and professional manner. Excellent customer service, communication skills, and professionalism are essential. A strong attention to detail is required, as well as excellent interpersonal skills.

Computer proficiency in word processing and spreadsheet programs, good analytical and organizational skills are required. A working knowledge of Slate or a CRM is preferred. The ability to represent Landmark professionally and responsibly handle confidential/sensitive information is required. The ideal candidate will display initiative, excellent time management skills, and the willingness to learn and take on new challenges.

At Landmark College, our compensation philosophy reflects our institutional values, our commitment to fairness and equity, and our role as a transformative educational community. The compensation for the above position is $18-20/hr.
