Summary

We are seeking an Automotive Lube Technician with experience in diagnosing and performing basic vehicle repairs to ensure that each vehicle leaves our express lane performing at its best, providing our customers with safe, reliable transportation. An ideal candidate should have knowledge in the automotive retail industry with a willingness to continue their training and certifications for a successful career. Experience with KIA models is a plus, but not required.

$17 per hour and above (based on factors such as Technician level, certifications, and job performance).

• Perform diagnostics and repairs on various automotive systems.
• Conduct routine maintenance and inspections on vehicles.
• Utilize dealership experience to enhance service efficiency.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely repairs.
• Maintain accurate records of services performed.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries.
• Stay updated on automotive technology and repair techniques.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
• Observe all Federal, State, Local and Company safety rules and regulations in the performance of duties.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Valid Driver's License.
• Experience as an Automotive Technician or similar role.
• Strong mechanical knowledge and diagnostic skills.
• Familiarity with dealership operations is highly preferred.
• Proficient in automotive repair techniques and tools.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Excellent communication skills for effective customer interaction.
• Knowledge of automotive electrical systems is a plus.
• Experience with electrical engine repair is advantageous.

The position requires regular and predictable attendance in-person at an automotive dealership. Scheduled shifts are typically 5-days per week, rotating Saturdays, and may include holidays.

Must be able to lift up to (50) pounds. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear; stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.

Duties are performed primarily in the automotive service area. Work includes movement around vehicles, working in various physical positions, and the safe operation of power tools and test equipment. May be exposed to loud noise, vibration, exhaust fumes, and other service and repair conditions. Frequently interacts with customers, service advisors and the service manager.

Ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and memos. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers and other employees.

Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide.

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions. Ability to deal with standardized situations. Ability to understand and follow technical manuals.
