Residential Day Camp Counselor, Camp Abnaki
Spend your summer creating epic memories and guiding young campers through their best days ever! Camp Abnaki is looking for enthusiastic, patient, and energetic Residential Day Camp Counselors to lead campers ages 5–10 through days filled with games, adventure, and growth. You’ll live on-site with our overnight staff and bring the magic of camp to our day campers each morning – from helping them settle in, to cheering them on at archery, to joining the world’s most spirited game of gaga.

The contract for this position is from June 18 through August 22. Possibilities of pre‑season and post‑season work are also available.

Help facilitate skill classes, special events, and themed days. - Build Positive Relationships:
Connect with campers, families, and fellow staff to foster a welcoming community. - Keep Camp Running Smoothly:
Help campers keep track of belongings, assist with equipment care, and support all‑camp operations. - Pitch In as Needed:
Participate in evening or weekend programming when requested and complete paperwork on time.
- Must be at least 16 years of age.
- Experience working with children grades K‑5, preferred.
- Ability to live on camp for the duration of the contract.
- Ability to lead a program or skill within a small group.
- Excellent written and oral communication.
- Demonstrated patience, compassion and empathy.

- Ability to navigate camp property, including uneven terrain and remote areas.
