Part-time Faculty of Theatre Arts

Vermont State University's Theater Arts program at Castleton is seeking a part-time faculty member to teach 1-2 classes in the Theater Arts curriculum for the Spring 2026 with potential for continuation. The courses taught may include Acting, Directing, Literature, and Capstone classes from beginner to advanced majors and non‑majors.

• Master of Fine Arts in Acting or Directing Theatre
• Professional Acting Experience
• Three years of professional theatre experience
• Previous teaching experience at the college level

Applications considered on a rolling basis fall 2025.

Based on credits previously taught per VSC-VSCPTF Bargaining Unit Agreement. The compensation or range of compensation for this role can be found here to the particular collective bargaining agreement.
