We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and adaptable individual who enjoys working with children to provide afternoon break coverage for our staff.

• Assist lead teachers
• Supervise children
• Ensure a safe and nurturing learning environment

• At least 18 years old
• High school graduate or GED
• If you have completed any college coursework or have an AA or higher (in any field of study) you may already meet requirements.
• At least one of the following qualifications:
• Vermont Early Childhood Career Ladder Level One (1) or Two (2) Certificate
• Current CDA (Child Development Associate) and at least 12 months experience with children grade 3 or younger
• State Board of Education approved Human Services Program Certificate that emphasizes child development or early childhood education and at least 12 months experience with children grade 3 or younger
• Successful completion of the Fundamentals for Early Childhood Professionals’ course or the Vermont After school program, and at least 12 months experience
• Successful completion of a three college credit course in child or human development or a three college credit course for school age care and education and at least 12 months experience with children grade 3 or younger
• First Aid/CPR (will provide if not already obtained)

• Experience working with children in an educational setting

• Paid Professional Development and training
• Paid school holidays and breaks
• Room for growth within the school, if desired

Part‑Time, Yearly Position

Time Frame:
August 20th - June 19th

Days:
Monday - Friday

Time: 12pm - 4:00pm (20 hrs per week)
