DescriptionServes as a dedicated student worker for the VTSU Multilingual Student Services office by assisting with language tutoring and supporting office initiatives. Requires a commitment of 3 hours per week to help students achieve academic success in their foreign language studies.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES- Provide individualized language tutoring to support student learning of a foreign language and academic success.
- Assist with administrative and programmatic tasks that support the goals of the Multilingual Student Services office.
- Connect students with virtual multilingual resources to supplement their language learning.
- Promote an inclusive and culturally responsive environment supporting diverse learners.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Must be enrolled as a sophomore or higher at Vermont State University, in good academic standing, with intermediate-level proficiency or higher in a language with tutoring demand and experience tutoring students.
