Long-Term Substitute Social Studies Teacher Needed

Champlain Valley Union High School (CVU) is seeking a Long-Term Substitute Social Studies Teacher to join our general education team. The position is anticipated to start January 21, 2026 and end May 20, 2026.

Candidates need to be qualified to teach grades 9-12 social studies with a focus on 19th-21st century US and World History. This position is responsible for covering one 11th grade class and 4 sections of 10th grade Humanities, co-taught with an English teacher. Experience with teaming using an interdisciplinary approach, and using standards for instruction and assessment is desirable. Only certified teachers will be considered for this position.
