Ticket Seller

Do you love sharing your passion for skiing or snowboarding with others? If you thrive in a quiet, independent setting and enjoy helping guests get excited about the mountain, we'd love to have you on our team!

As a Ticket Seller at the Madonna/Sterling Base Lodge, you’ll be the first point of contact for many guests as they begin their day on the slopes. Whether it’s their first time at Smuggs, or a family of seasoned riders upgrading to season passes, you’ll help create a welcoming and efficient start to their Smuggs adventure. This is a primarily solo role, once you're trained and confident, you'll independently run the ticket booth, with full support always just a call away.

• Sell and process lift tickets, season passes, and other winter activities using our point-of-sale system
• Provide accurate, friendly information about ticket options, pricing, mountain operations, and Smuggs programs
• Assist guests with common questions, concerns, and special requests, always with a friendly, solutions-first attitude
• Handle cash drawer and daily reconciliation duties with accuracy and professionalism
• Deliver a welcoming and calm guest experience, even during peak periods or challenging transactions

• A friendly and reliable communicator who enjoys working with people
• Confidence and comfort working independently in a quiet, solo setting once trained
• Ability to stay organized and focused in both slow and busy periods
• Solid computer skills and attention to detail in handling transactions
• Passion for winter sports and familiarity with skiing or snowboarding culture
• A calm demeanor and positive attitude, even when helping guests with problems or special circumstances

This is a part‑time, seasonal role based out of the ticket booth at the Madonna/Sterling Base Lodge, making it a great fit for college students, parents with school-aged children, or anyone looking to soak up the winter vibes while being part of an iconic Vermont ski resort.

Weekend and holiday availability is required
