Responsible for facilitating the growth and success of our lending operations by leveraging the Bank’s internal resources and your expertise in mortgage originations. Responsibilities include converting internally generated mortgage leads, originating employee loans, and expanding our business through proactive engagement with past customers and their network of industry professionals.

• Knowledge of lending criteria/business needs, lending systems, and regulatory/investor lending guidelines

• Knowledge of loan origination needs and milestones (origination, processing, underwriting, closing, products, vendor interfaces)

• Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing

• Ability to work without close supervision

• Ability to demonstrate effective critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with exacting deadlines

• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment

• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and bank secrecy

• Ability to demonstrate effective customer service skills

• Skill in using computer and Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point

• Associate’s degree or commensurate work experience and two years of residential mortgage or banking experience, OR high school diploma and three years of residential mortgage or banking experience, required.
• NMLS, or successful completion of NMLS process within 45 days of hire, required.
• Experience working in Encompass, preferred
