This position pays $13 per hour plus commission and service charges.

The selected individual will be responsible for providing high-quality manicures, pedicures, and nail treatments while maintaining a clean and sanitized workstation at all times.

We’re seeking a talented nail technician who can join our team and enhance our reputation for stellar customer service. The ideal candidate will prioritize positive, professional relationships with customers and aim to gradually expand their client base.

• Shape, polish, and treat customers’ fingernails and toenails
• Apply, remove, or touch up polish
• Assess nail health and determine best treatment for optimal care
• Engage in customer consultations and provide necessary nail care services
• Build long-lasting relationships to encourage repeat business and referrals

• Perform basic manicure and pedicure services to clients and guests
• Build rapport with clients to retain them and maintain a full schedule
• Support spa sales goals by recommending appropriate products and services
• Perform various professional nail services for guests and educate them about nail care needs
• Provide the highest quality customer service to clients/guests
• Follow established guidelines for nail services and ensure guest satisfaction in nail grooming, massage and exfoliation, and polish application
• Use universal precautions and assess contraindications before treatments
• Ensure sanitary conditions and disinfect all tools daily
• Maintain and increase knowledge of nail care and spa services offered
• Educate clients on ingredients and product benefits where applicable
• Exhibit a professional and well-groomed appearance
• Answer guests’ questions in a knowledgeable and professional manner
• Promote other spa services by suggesting beneficial treatments
• Begin and end all treatments within the scheduled time frame and recommend at-home care products

• Strong knowledge of manicure and pedicure techniques
• Effective communication and ability to build positive rapport with clients
• Ability to perform nail grooming services and educate clients on proper nail care
• Customer service skills when promoting products
• Physical dexterity and stamina for repetitive tasks

• Demonstrated work experience in cosmetology
• Eagerness to learn new techniques and trends
• Active license in cosmetology or as a nail technician in Vermont
• Ability to collaborate with other staff when treating customers
