Gifford Medical Center is seeking a motivated and team-oriented Physical Therapist to work with our experienced inpatient rehabilitation team.

Gifford Health Care is seeking a Physical Therapist to work primarily with inpatient departments to provide care to acute and transitional care patients with the goal of a successful discharge. The successful candidate will work with team members with varied backgrounds in evaluation and treatment, and will need clear and confident communication with rehabilitation members, medical providers, case managers and patients’ families.

Building strong patient rapport and providing excellent customer service is essential. This position will primarily be weekend, holiday and vacation coverage.

• Provide care to inpatient acute and transitional care patients with the goal of successful discharge.
• Collaborate with team members with varied backgrounds in evaluation and treatment of a wide spectrum of patient diagnoses.
• Communicate clearly and confidently with rehabilitation colleagues, medical providers, case managers and patients’ families.
• Build strong patient rapport and deliver excellent customer service.
• Provide weekend, holiday and vacation coverage as needed.
