• Develop and implement the facility’s education plan to support ongoing staff learning and development.
• Facilitate engaging in‑service trainings, orientation programs, and skill development sessions.
• Lead the infection prevention and control program—monitor, educate, and ensure compliance with all standards.
• Collaborate with leadership to promote a culture of safety, excellence, and teamwork.
• Serve as a resource and mentor for clinical staff across all departments.

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current RN or LPN license (or compact licensure recognized by the State of Vermont).
• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required;
  Bachelor’s Degree (BSN) preferred.
• Completion of an Infection Preventionist Certificate (can be completed upon hire).
• At least 2 years of nursing experience in skilled nursing or healthcare required.
• Prior experience in education and/or infection prevention strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated leadership and communication skills; prior management experience a plus.
