Northwestern Medical Center is seeking a dedicated Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our team at Northwestern Orthopedics.

In this role, you will provide exceptional care to our patients, adhering to established standards and practices within your licensure and credentialing scope.

Key responsibilities include:

• Diagnosing, treating, consulting, and following up with patients
• Completing timely History and Physical documentation
• Ordering appropriate lab and diagnostic procedures
• Interpreting data to establish therapeutic goals
• Providing patient education on acute and chronic conditions

You will play a crucial role in implementing medical care, including writing medication orders and prescribing medications. Effective communication with patients, families, and colleagues is essential, as is utilizing electronic health records for accurate documentation.

As part of our team, you will actively participate in hospital committees, maintain positive relationships with staff, and contribute to cost-saving process improvements. Additionally, you will assist surgeons in patient care, from pre-operative preparation to post-operative care.
