Gifford is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to work in our Rehabilitation Department. The role involves working independently and as part of a hospital-based team, primarily in our acute care/swing bed setting, with outpatient and extended care nursing home coverage. Experience in workplace and workstation ergonomics is a plus. The therapist will select evaluation methods appropriate to the diagnosis, age, and physical/emotional status of patients, and develop suitable treatment plans.

Your team includes experienced PTs, OTs, and a Speech Therapist, with opportunities to pursue or develop specialized skills aligned with department needs. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication, decision-making, and attention to detail, with strong time management skills, a patient-centered approach, and the ability to work collaboratively.

• Current OT license with the state of VT
