The principal responsibility is to ensure the effective delivery and support of the***'s security controls across its network, systems, applications and data. The security engineering manager will lead a team that is responsible for the effective configuring of security technologies like:

• Web application Firewall
• Unified Threat Management (UTM) Firewalls
• Network Access Controls
• Platform Security related tools like privilege access management (PAM) and Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) solutions.

The Lead will ensure these technologies used to protect the states information systems and critical systems are optimally configured and tuned to achieve the best possible results from the investments.

The Security Engineering Lead is expected to be technically proficient in the disciplines supervised and provide a modest degree of direct technical support where required. Specific functions will include:

• Staff supervision
• Leadership
• Project / Task / Resource management
• Administrative – as needed, including various meetings and management reporting
• Technical Support
• Internal Customer Relationship Management
• Customer Service Excellence

Technical experience in one or more of the core technical requirements and related product support in a 24x7 operational environment:

• Network Security Tools (Firewalls, IDS/IPS)
• Web Application Firewall
• Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR)
• Cloud Security Systems and Tools

The Security Engineering Lead will report to the Director of Enterprise Security Operations.
