Rough Mill Cutoff Machinist

Position Summary

Set up and operate a variety of woodworking machines to cut, rip, match, glue and inspect surface lumber to Routing specifications to achieve maximum yield. To remove all defects using woodworking machinery

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• No experience necessary.
• Ability to set up & operate multiple machines after 90 days training.
• Ability to read standard routing sheets after 90 days training.
• Basic math with an emphasis on fractions and conversions.
• Understanding of lumber species and grade specifications to achieve maximum yield after 90 days training.
