We are looking for motivated and reliable people to join our team!

Lyndon Furniture has been a producer of fine hardwood furniture for over 45 years in the Northeast Kingdom of Vermont. The Production Worker will work on the production line assisting with a variety of tasks that keep our manufacturing process running smoothly.

• Prepare surfaces for finishing by sanding and lighting
• Determine product specifications and materials, work methods, and machine setup requirements according to instructions, drawings, or work orders
• Clean and maintain products, machines, and work areas
• Apply filler, putty, or other material using brush, putty knife, and fingers to fill wood pores, holes, cracks, or other indentations
• Examine finished work pieces for smoothness, matching boards, shape, angle, depth‑of‑cut, and conformity to specifications
• Verify dimensions visually and by feel, rules, templates, and by lighting
• Sort and collate prepared work pieces for glue wheel; tend glue wheel clamp to create panels from individual boards
• Sort and guide planks emerging from saw onto roller tables or conveyors for trimming ends
• Set up, operate, or tend saws or machines that cut or trim wood to specified dimensions (wood planer’s, circular saws, straight‑line ripsaws, or grey‑con machines)
• Operate control panels of saw or conveyor systems to move stock through processes or to cut stock to specified dimensions
• Monitor sawing machines, planer, and chipper; adjust speed and tension and clear jams with hand tools to ensure proper operation
• On‑the‑job training provided

• Woodworking experience preferred (minimum 1 year)
• Manufacturing experience preferred (minimum 1 year)
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Ability to commute to Saint Johnsbury, VT 05819

Morning shift: 5:00 AM – 2:00 PM Mon‑Thurs. 5:00 AM – 9:00 AM Fri or 5:00 AM – 1:00 PM Mon‑Fri depending on production. No weekends.

Full‑time, no less than 40 hours per week. Pay: $16.00 – $19.00 per hour. Weekly paycheck and overtime pay available.
