Warehouse Lead Coordinator

Overview

Packaging Technician role focused on operating and maintaining packaging line equipment, ensuring safety, quality, and continuous production. The position requires versatility to support shift operations and potential progression to Lead Operator as needed.

• Setup and Operation:
  Prime machines and systems for packaging to meet daily and weekly goals, adhering to the Packaging Schedule. Operate and maintain a diverse range of machinery, including forklifts and track mobiles.
• Quality Control:
  Provide samples to the Lab for testing, uphold quality standards, implement corrective actions based on lab data and operations, and safeguard product integrity during packaging, loading, and transportation. address damaged goods promptly.
• Product Integrity:
  Maintain high product purity and prevent contamination during product changes or equipment transitions.
• Maintenance and Troubleshooting:
  Conduct shift inspections, repair machinery as needed, and coordinate with Maintenance teams to minimize downtime and sustain production.
• Housekeeping Standards:
  Keep areas clean, store items properly, and maintain a safe working environment.
• Documentation:
  Maintain meticulous records of shipments, parameters, and equipment status to support shift transitions and management decisions.

  Work with supporting departments to complete tasks and resolve issues, upholding product quality.
• Safety and Compliance:
  Follow safety and quality procedures, aim for zero lost time injuries, conduct daily warehouse inspections, and safely load products onto trucks, boxcars, and railcars.

  Pursue ongoing education to deepen understanding of warehouse processes and best practices.
• Versatility and Leadership:
  Be prepared to transition into Lead Operator when required, providing guidance and ensuring uninterrupted packaging operations.
• Emergency Response:
  Report accidents or safety incidents to the area supervisor and respond effectively to emergencies as directed.
• Flexibility:
  Willingness to work overtime and respond to call-ins as needed.
• Additional Duties:
  Perform other duties as assigned, demonstrating adaptability and teamwork.

• Educational Background
  :
  High school diploma or equivalent required; additional technical training or certifications in industrial equipment operation are desirable.
• Technical Proficiency
  :
  Proficiency in operating heavy machinery (forklifts, track mobiles); computer literacy to navigate software systems.
• Operational Skills
  :
  Ability to read, comprehend, and communicate procedures; mechanical troubleshooting skills and aptitude to reduce downtime.
• Physical Capabilities
  :
  Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and perform tasks such as reaching, climbing, and getting on/off equipment; adapt to diverse environmental conditions.
• Interpersonal Skills
  :
  Excellent communication and teamwork; commitment to ongoing professional development in industrial mineral production.

• Full-time position with potential overtime and weekend work as production schedules require.
• Monday through Friday, 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM
• Base Pay Range: $24 – $28 per hour; +$1 per hour shift differential
