Foundry Technician - 3rd Shift

Pay Range $20.00/hour to $26.33/hour PLUS an additional $1.40/hr shift differential
Monday - Friday 9pm - 5:30am

• Produce quality cast iron parts used to create Hearth & Home Technologies’ industry-leading fireplaces, stoves and hearth products (including the Vermont Castings brand).
• Learn and perform the melt and mold process, including setup and operation of DISA equipment, furnaces, and sand system.
• Read and perform basic math functions to determine mold specifications, production counts, work-in-process, and product specifications.
• Follow written and pictorial standard work instructions, communicate clearly and effectively with others, and complete quality and safety checks.
• Operate material handling equipment and heavy equipment as advanced skills, including Bobcat, forklift, yard truck, sweeper, and overhead cranes/hoists to move material such as molten metal, slag and refractory containers, furnace components and other equipment weighing from 2 to 10 tons.
