Responsible for setup and operation of CNC mills and lathes.

• Adjusts machines, including controls or control media, as required toensure quality of work
• Communicates with supervisor, engineers, production control,quality and other manufacturing personnel for
  assignments and toresolve quality issues
• Keeps equipment and work area cleanand orderly
• Performs basic preventative maintenance functions on equipment
• Studies and interprets drawings,manuals, specifications or sample parts to determine dimensions and tolerances
• of finished work pieces,sequence of operations and setup requirements
• Actively participate and support the 5S process within the work area on a daily basis.
• Other duties will be assigned as required.

• Minimumoftwo years’ expe rience operating CNC machinessuchas lathesand millmachinesin a manufacturing
  environment
• Intermediate knowledge and application of precisionmeasuringinstruments. Instruments should include, but not
  limited to,calipers,  OD micrometers, depth gauges, indicators and scales
• Intermediate knowledge oftoolholders, cutting tools, boring bars, fixtures,inserts and other accessories used on
  various CNC machines

Workis normally performed in a climate-controlled office environment and throughouta heated manufacturing and
warehouse facility. Exposure to conditions ofextreme heat/cold, poor ventilation,fumes and gases is very limited. Noise level is moderate and includes sounds of lightmanufacturing,shipping and receiving, and normal office equipment
(computers, telephones, etc.). No known environmental hazards are encountered in normal performance ofjob duties.
