Position Summary
The certified nurse midwife shall work in collaboration with practicing physicians to provide comprehensive health care to midwifery patients, including antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, gynecology, labor management, and delivery. The midwife will function within the Bylaws of the Medical Staff and within the limits of their licensure and certification.
Minimum Requirements- Graduate of an accredited school of nurse midwifery.
- Registered Nurse with a current Vermont license and endorsement as a certified nurse midwife.
Three to five years of clinical experience as a nurse midwife preferred.
