• participates in patient and family teaching

• provides leadership by working cooperatively with ancillary nursing and other patient team personnel in maintaining standards for professional nursing practice in the clinical setting

for holiday coverage, travelers are required to work two of the following:
thanksgiving and friday/weekend after
christmas eve/christmas day and friday/weekend after
new year eve/new year day and friday/weekend after

note - extensions that are requested to end in november or before the holiday starts in december will not be considered for an extension at the beginning of 2026

local travelers - those who reside within 50 miles of the facility - are not eligible for this need.
this is a small community without public transport. Traveler candidate must have their own vehicle. This is a firm requirement.
