We’re seeking a skilled, compassionate Veterinary Technician to join our collaborative, fast-paced team and help us deliver the exceptional care our patients and clients deserve.

• Gold-Standard Medicine – Rutland Veterinary Clinic & Surgical Center delivers top-quality care at every life stage—from compassionate wellness visits to expert orthopedic surgeries. As an AAHA-Accredited, Fear Free Certified, and Cat Friendly Practice, we prioritize low-stress care backed by advanced diagnostics and surgical expertise, including CCL repairs and patellar luxation.
• Surgical & Specialty Exposure – Get hands-on experience assisting in both routine and advanced surgical procedures. We provide extensive training and mentorship to support your growth, whether you're mastering anesthesia monitoring, surgical prep, or post‑op recovery protocols.

• A Credentialed Veterinary Technician (CVT, LVT, or RVT) who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
• Experienced in surgery prep, anesthesia monitoring, and post-operative care.
• Skilled in placing IV catheters, drawing blood, performing lab tests, and dental prophylaxis (scaling and polishing).
• Passionate about client communication and building lasting relationships.
• A team player who’s eager to pitch in, problem-solve, and support both clinical and non-clinical tasks.
• Committed to learning, growing, and delivering compassionate, high-quality care.

• Assisting in surgical procedures and monitoring anesthesia.
• Leading by example to mentor and train junior staff.
• Supporting diagnostics, treatments, and daily patient care.
• Maintaining accurate medical records and effective client communication.
• Helping uphold high standards of care and consistency across the hospital.
