Dates of Temporary, Fulltime Employment: 4/1/2026-11/16/2026.
We are looking for golf greenskeepers to maintain the pristine golf courses at both Stowe Mountain Course and Stowe Country Club. You will mow greens, tees, aprons, and approaches to greens; rake sand traps manually and with power rakes. Aerify greens; verticut tees and greens; spike greens; operate sod cutter; and mow rough with rotary and operate other equipment as directed.
Maintain gasoline, oil and other equipment fluid levels daily; report equipment problems and failures to equipment manager immediately. Perform basic preventive maintenance on equipment as directed by the assistant superintendent or equipment manager; and return equipment to designated location at the maintenance facility. Utilize loaders to remove dirt, debris and other materials. Drive a dump truck to haul materials and refuse;
operate portable pumps. Change pins and tee markers. Inform supervisors about any irregularity to the golf course. Must effectively interact with club members, community guests, residents and personnel.

- Ability to walk for up to 4 hours without major disruption.
- Ability to perform physical activities that include climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, fingering, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing and repetitive motions.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Experience must include the general safe mechanical operation of any type of trucks and other motorized equipment.
- Experience must include the general operation of any type of gasoline and diesel engines.
- Experience must include the use of manual maintenance tools.
- Must be willing to work in any type of weather conditions during the dates of employment.
- Must have ability to follow oral and written directions.
- Must have possession of a valid driver's license or ability to attain driver’s license within 2 weeks of start date.
- Must not have a suspended, revoked, invalid or expired driver’s license.
- Must not have: more than 3 driving violations in the past 3 years; one or more serious infractions in the past 3 years (DUI, DWI, hit and run, excessive speed, evading police); reckless or careless driving in the past 3 years; 2 or more cited accidents in the last year; no misdemeanor or felony convictions.
- Able to communicate verbally in English. Able to stand/walk up to 8 hours per day.
- Will require pre‑hire criminal background check. References might be requested.

Shifts:
Following shifts available 7 days a week including weekends and holidays. Work hours from: 8:00am-4:30pm, 7:00am-3:30pm and 5:30pm-2:00am, shifts based on the time of the season, daylight, and need.
Pay Range: $23.50 - $29.00 per hour based on merit and experience.
