Job Description & How to Apply Below

Location Saint Johnsbury, United States Sector Other Salary $ to $ per annum

We are working on behalf of a well-established, relationship-driven small animal general practice in St. Johnsbury, VT, seeking to welcome an Associate Veterinarian to its close-knit team. The hospital was purpose-built as a veterinary facility just five years ago, giving doctors an efficient, comfortable space with digital diagnostics, in-house capabilities, and a dedicated surgical suite. The caseload is a healthy mix of wellness, sick visits, surgery, and dentistry, with around 14 appointments a day and a 2:1 support staff ratio, so you have the time and the help to practice thorough medicine.

This is a team where people stay. Many staff members have been with the practice for anywhere from 5 to more than 25 years, which says a lot about the culture of collaboration and mutual support. You will have genuine medical autonomy, backed by an experienced leadership team and transparent production metrics that help you understand and grow your earnings, with no negative accrual during slower periods.

The practice is based in Vermont's Northeast Kingdom, an area known for small-town New England charm, mountain scenery, lakes, hiking, and skiing, all within reach of Burlington, Montpelier, and the White Mountains. If you are looking for quality medicine, a supportive team, and a more balanced pace of life, this one is well worth a conversation.
