Northshire Bookstore is seeking a full-time Facilities & Receiving Assistant for our flagship Manchester, VT location.

This is a full-time, high-energy position and the ideal candidate will have experience with general maintenance and upkeep of a large commercial retail building, as well as receiving products and supplies. Tasks may include general cleaning, trash disposal, repairing and adjusting retail fixtures, moving and distributing supplies between multiple onsite locations (including heavier items) and more. Clean driving record preferred.

This position requires the ability to multi-task and communicate with various members of the Northshire team to ensure optimal visual presentation and functionality of our flagship retail location.

Tasks include:
General maintenance of property exterior and interior (including cleaning, vacuuming and dusting throughout building) Receive inventory Restock shopping bags and other supplies Clearing sidewalks and other common areas of debris, snow and ice Assembly and/or movement of retail fixtures, furniture, etc. Installation of replacement lighting throughout the building Inter-store and other transportation transfers using company vehicle (as needed) Miscellaneous tasks as directed by Facilities Manager

36-40 hours per week

This position requires availability on Saturday and/or Sunday with flexible hours that may be before, during and/or after store close

Shift lengths are flexible and may vary by day depending on candidate availability.
