Job Description Summary

The Heavy Equipment Sales Representative has the opportunity to sell and rent equipment and attachments in an assigned geographic territory. Anderson Equipment Company supports sales representatives with sales planning tools, comprehensive training programs with dedicated Branch Manager coaching, and an extensive fleet of construction, mining, paving, forestry equipment, and attachments.

The Sales Representative must grow the territory to achieve annual sales revenue and market share targets by understanding customer needs, identifying sales opportunities, and developing customized equipment and financial solutions. The representative must reside in the territory to maximize community exposure and maintain ongoing relationships with customers, resolving issues quickly by utilizing internal contacts with Service, Parts, and Rental departments at the branch.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Associate’s degree with a focus on finance, marketing, or business.
  • Work experience in Heavy Equipment, Auto, or related industry.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales, revenue targets, or financial goals.
  • Excellent customer service and presentation skills with dependable follow-up and responsiveness.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and financial creativity.
  • Must have a valid driver's license and be able to meet the company’s driver policy requirements, with daily travel within the sales territory to customer sites and meetings.
Compensation and Benefits
  • Range depends on sales ability: $60,000 - $150,000, including salary, commission, and bonuses.
