The Equinox in Vermont, provides year‑round activities and a supportive, collaborative environment for staff. We are looking for a motivated, detail‑oriented Maintenance Technician to work closely with the team on building maintenance, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.

Your Role

• Performs general maintenance of building and facility mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Performs general electrical repairs on appliances, house wiring, and air conditioning systems, switches, fixtures, and motors.
• Makes repairs on plumbing fixtures, piping, drains, and sanitary systems.
• Repares woodwork, wall vinyl, doors and windows, carpeting, and other surface finishes.
• Maintains general mechanical equipment such as pumps, compressors, water heaters, automotive equipment, and miscellaneous equipment.
• Keeps records as required by company policy and procedures; maintains logs on completed tasks and prepares reports as requested by supervisors.

Qualifications

• Experience in a maintenance role at a hotel or resort.
• Knowledge of carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and general repairs.
• Engaging, welcoming personality and strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast‑paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills and a passion for guest experience.
• Availability to work various shifts, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to walk, stand, reach, crouch, bend, push/pull, and lift up to 50 lbs.

Compensation
$17.00 – $22.00 per hour
