Sprague Construction LLC is a reputable construction company dedicated to high-quality craftsmanship and innovative building solutions. We specialize in Remodeling, custom kitchens, custom bathrooms and we’re looking for a skilled Lead Carpenter to help bring our projects to life.

Position Overview:

We seek an experienced and highly skilled Lead Carpenter to oversee carpentry work, manage project workflow, and mentor a team of craftsmen. The ideal candidate will have exceptional technical skills, leadership qualities, and the ability to deliver outstanding results in a fast-paced construction environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and supervise carpentry crews, ensuring efficiency and quality workmanship.

Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and project specifications.

Execute advanced framing, finishing, cabinetry, and custom woodwork with precision.

Plan and delegate tasks while maintaining timelines and budgets.

Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and company standards.

Provide hands-on training and mentorship to junior carpenters.

Communicate effectively with project managers, subcontractors, and clients.

Troubleshoot and solve on-site challenges efficiently.

Qualifications & Skills:

Minimum of 7 years of carpentry experience, with at least 4 years in a leadership role.

Expertise in framing, finish carpentry, cabinetry, and general woodworking.

Strong leadership skills with experience managing teams.

Proficiency in using power tools, hand tools, and carpentry equipment.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.

Knowledge of construction safety protocols and building codes.

Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
